Since its founding in the arcades of the Palais Royal in 1858, Boucheron has been recognised as a great pioneer of luxury jewellery.
The origins of the Serpent Bohème collection, perhaps its most iconic line, can be traced back as far as 1876. In that year, founder Frédéric Boucheron presented his beloved wife Gabrielle with a bracelet in the shape of a serpent as a symbol of love, protection and happiness.
This motif was reawakened in 1968 to create the Serpent collection, which proved so popular that it remains in production today.
Each piece is made from the most precious of metals combined with jewels both exotic and familiar, representing the great passions of Frédéric, which remain at the core of Boucheron’s ethos: travel and adventure, and home and family.
