Tag Heuer’s new chronograph wonder

Paulina Szmydke,

A relentless quest for precision has led the legendary Swiss brand Tag Heuer to perfect a new chronograph that combines high-frequency performance without sacrificing precision or efficiency. The Mikrogirder measures time to a phenomenal 1/2,000th of a second, which is 1,000 Hz or 7.2m beats per hour (an average watch will manage 4 Hz or 28,800 beats per hour). This impressive advance in technology does not come without a proper sense of style. Tag Heuer’s latest coup is housed behind a slick anthracite and silver dial with rose gold details that sits neatly on a hand-sewn alligator strap.
