Show Report: Paco Rabanne Spring/Summer 2012

Recently relaunched under the creative direction of Manish Arora, Paco Rabanne embraced all things futuristic in its spectacular spring/summer presentation. In a look that was somewhere between the gladiatorial and the robotic, models were encased in body-conscious metallic chainmail dresses with defined shoulders and hips creating an exaggerated hourglass silhouette. Further extravagant ensembles featured fibre-optic arm embellishment and expansive metallic fans worn as headpieces that added drama to simple shift dresses.
