Parisian fashion house Chloé is famous for its classic, simple, effortlessly sophisticated aesthetic. Next season’s offering showcased prints and patterns, voluminous bandeau dresses, ruffled necklines and appliqued mini skirts. To open the show Chloé displayed asymmetric cropped sweaters with loose-fitting, sheer, ruffle-hemmed tops and tailored above-the-knee skirts. As the show progressed, volume became a key focus, with wide, ruffle-shouldered jackets in simple white combined with sheer tops and loose, wide-legged trousers cropped at the ankle.
The label’s gradual introduction of pattern ensured its signature shapes and styles were not overwhelmed. Wide, peg-legged trousers were emblazoned with abstract cut-out flower prints in dark navy, alongside a matching version in shimmering bronze. As the label channelled a girlish aesthetic, peach-coloured A-line dresses appeared, featuring matching ruffled necklines and cut-out bow details. To end the show, Chloé displayed a sense of fun with multi-layered tops and dresses embellished with glitter and sequins – a youthful, playful evening wardrobe.
