Like Milan, Paris found new ways of interpreting the times we live in. While trends were present, there seemed to be more of a sense of unity in the French capital, with many designers redefining how we perceive glamour. There was a big movement towards contemporary casualwear, with brands such as Chloé, Lanvin and Rochas revisiting their house codes to create a more laid-back, modest approach to dressing. Designers moved away from the idea that glamour needs to be about short, sheer, tight dresses, and opted instead for sensual suits and tactical tailoring.
