Vivienne Westwood opens her first standalone retail location in France this year, on prestigious rue Saint-Honoré. Offering two floors of ready-to-wear clothing, the boutique will be the ultimate place to shop the brand’s range of eclectic, avant-garde pieces. The store will offer womenswear and menswear along with bridalwear and an eveningwear salon dedicated to showcasing and fitting demi-couture gowns. Previously a chocolate shop, an atelier for instrument-makers and a famous French classical music publishing house, this historic address is the ideal place for the Vivienne Westwood brand to make its mark in Paris.

This October, celebrated fashion house Chloé opened a double-storey boutique which perfectly echoes the house’s feminine and luxurious ready-to-wear line. Situated on avenue Montaigne, the new flagship features vintage lamps, a sweeping staircase and raw oak detailing, giving the store a cosy yet elegant atmosphere. The boudoir-style fitting rooms, pink marble and intimate French garden located behind the store further invoke romance. To celebrate the opening of the new store, a customised patchwork Drew bag, inspired by the rosette-motif stained glass of the Notre-Dame cathedral, has been designed exclusively for the store. There are just 10 numbered pieces available, each signed with Chloé’s new Paris address.

Paul Smith has brought his celebrated, eclectic British style to the heart of rue Saint-Honoré. The new boutique, the brand’s sixth branch in Paris, is beautifully curated and stocks ready-to-wear, shoes and accessories for men and women. Those seeking something formal can make use of the dedicated tailoring room, which offers a wide range of Paul Smith suits, shirts and formal accessories. The store has been designed in Paul Smith’s vibrant tones and features frequently changing window installations as well as wall art and bespoke mosaic tiles.

Mugler’s first boutique in Paris opens this autumn and it will be the perfect place to explore the brand’s fashion and perfume collections. The store has been to reference the brand’s fashion codes, with elegant, glossy façades and geometric detailing. Handbags and accessories are displayed on bespoke cubist-inspired podiums while luxury fitting rooms are decorated in Mugler’s signature Angel blue.

Emporio Armani’s store on lively boulevard Saint-Germain has been redesigned this month and showcases a truly contemporary aesthetic. The new space offers four floors designed with chic metal tubing, black stone floors and dark, backlit ceilings. The cool new space also offers the Emporio Armani Caffè; guests can enjoy the spacious terrace all year round, with its superb views of place Saint-Germain. The café serves Italian cuisine and is a great place to refuel after a day of shopping.

Those looking to invest in some beautiful jewellery this autumn should head to the new Dior fine jewellery and timepiece boutique on avenue Montaigne. Situated opposite the brand’s original store, the new address is the perfect setting to show off the house’s fine jewels as well as exclusive pieces designed by Victoire de Castellane, Dior’s creative director of fine jewellery. Furla has opened a new boutique on renowned rue Saint-Honoré.
