Karl Lagerfeld opens his first concept store

Chanel’s celebrated creative director brings his own label to Saint-Germain-des-Prés

Marina Nelson,

Karl Lagerfeld has opened his first concept store in the heart of Paris’s Saint-Germain-des-Prés area. The new boutique brings his distinctive monochrome aesthetic to life across two floors, and features new-season ready-to-wear pieces and accessories for men and women.

On arrival, customers are greeted by Lagerfeld’s extensive range of accessories, including leather bags, shoes and his signature sunglasses. Those looking for clothing should head to the first floor to browse his ready-to-wear fashion.

For a closer insight into Lagerfeld’s creative vision, the store also has an array of unique and limited-edition items from rare photographs to exclusive design books.

As a special opening-day treat, customers will be treated to an exclusive preview of the autumn/winter 2013 collection, with a pre-order service, the perfect prelude to snapping up one of the enticing pieces for spring/summer.
