If there is one jeweller that impeccably encapsulates Parisian style, it has to be Cartier.
The Paris-based fine jewellery company, founded in 1847, has just opened its ninth Paris boutique on the exclusive boulevard des Capucines.
Positioned close to two of the city’s major landmarks, the Opéra de Paris and the Madeleine, the 450-square-metre store was designed by architect Bruno Moinard, who frequently works with Cartier.
The two-storey boutique offers high jewellery, accessories, watches and bridal collections.
Before you get too distracted by the delights inside, be sure to take time to admire the building’s impressive façade, which is decked with gilt bronze decorative railings, dramatic window displays and rare Italian portor marble.
