Autumn/winter 2018 revealed a new attitude to fashion. While trends were present, there was more of a sense of unity and empowerment, which lead to designers creating new ways of commenting on social movements. In London there was a sense of optimism with collections that looked to the future and brought bright rainbow colours to the fore. Milan was all about power dressing with 1980s-inspired double-breasted suits and tweed. In Paris, designers explored a sense of powerful femininity, offering new ways of interpreting glamour and a big movement towards contemporary casualwear.
