French couturier Alexis Mabille has opened his first flagship store, in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, which is filled with Mabille’s ready-to-wear womenswear collection and accessories.
The store, created in conjunction with renowned French architects Humbert & Poyet, is based around a series of luxurious changing rooms.
Taking inspiration from the 1930s, the lavish store features pink drapes, parquet floors and long, illuminating mirrors and windows. Mabille’s signature bow-tie logo is engraved on the store’s centrepiece mirror and features on the glass entrance.
High fashion runs through Mabille’s life - his family started producing silk in the Lyonnaise region in the 1800s, and after perfecting his skills at Dior, he collaborated with Yves Saint Laurent and Lancôme before launching his own label in 2005.
