LVMH opens a luxury pop-up hotel in Saint-Tropez

Marina Nelson,

This summer Saint-Tropez has welcomed a new hotel, White 1921. Developed by LVMH, the group behind luxury fashion labels including Louis Vuitton, Loewe, Kenzo and Givenchy, the temporary hotel is in a prime location at the heart of Saint-Tropez.

The accommodation consists of eight airy and beautifully decorated rooms and suites set in a Mediterranean garden. The outdoor lounge bar, designed by architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, is particularly appealing; the bar is backlit with silk-white glass, creating a feeling of space, while the garden continues this with neutral decking and pale seating. The hotel’s wine cellar has a selection of the finest Champagnes, including Dom Pérignon and Veuve Clicquot, plus a gourmet menu that will please even the fussiest.

The White 1921 hotel is open until 7 October, with rooms from €270 and suites from €650 a night.
