Chanel returns to Saint-Tropez

Chanel opens its fifth Saint-Tropez pop-up store with a new design aesthetic inspired by the Métiers d’Art Paris-Dallas runway show last December

Marina Nelson,

Haute couture fashion label Chanel recently reopened its signature pop-up store in Saint-Tropez for a fifth year.

Set in La Mistralée hotel, the famous pop-up store has a new look and a new dedicated space for watches and selected high jewellery pieces.

This year’s design was inspired by the Métiers d’Art Paris runway show in Dallas last December, and its exterior décor echoes the America-themed Dallas show with earthy brown undertones, rustic red highlights and a splash of dusky pink for a feminine edge.

Visitors enter the store to an explosion of colour that mirrors the label’s multicoloured spring/summer 2014 collection. Each room has a dip-dye colour theme so you can shop across the label’s summer shades and find matching accessories and footwear.

Those looking for beachwear will enjoy the outdoor patio area with a poolside beach hut offering pieces for lounging by the water as well as swimwear for a dip in the sea at sunny Saint-Tropez.

Chanel, La Mistralée, 1 avenue du Général Leclerc, 83990 Saint-Tropez
