Toalette has long been a favourite of Czech actresses for its proximity to Prague’s theatre district. Theatrical would be a good starting point for describing the boutique, which offers a mix of the old and new; think antique brooches pinned to new hats and sexy vintage sweaters paired with modern skirts. Original looks from daring local designers can be found alongside vintage bohemian pieces and lots of polka dots.

Galerie Art Deco
Galerie Art Deco is a cluttered space full of pieces from the 20s and 30s and a stunning Art Deco jewellery collection. Diamante encrusted and enamelled brooches are piled in heaps alongside hanging displays of Czech glass necklaces. Fur hats, lace gloves and a jumbled array of antiques, from cutlery to cosmetic cases, complete the mildly chaotic, wildly charming picture. Rumour has it that Johnny Depp was a regular while filming on location in Prague a while back.
