Venice in Vienna

Paulina Szmydke,

It looks like a luxury yacht, but in fact it’s a new restaurant designed by BEHF, a trio of young Austrian architects. Motto am Fluss serves organic delicacies and includes a bar, a lounge, a terrace, a bakery and a shop. Situated on the banks of the Danube Canal, this impressive steel-tube structure has a warm and cosy interior reminiscent of Venice in the 50s. The quail breasts with squash, radicchio and celery stalks are delicious.
