The newly opened Orlando di Castello restaurant offers an eye-popping mix of different styles, from rural kitsch to French chic, and stands out in Vienna’s otherwise rather conservative dining environment. Though breakfast, lunch and dinner can all be recommended equally, it’s the creations of French pastry chef Pierre Reboul that make guests’ tastebuds jump for joy. The tempting ménage à trois, made of almond crisps and layers of chocolate, is particularly delicious.
