Sarah Swash and Toshio Yamanaka, two Central Saint Martins graduates, are the designers behind Swash, a droll label that plays nicely with prints. Swash and Yamanaka draw their current inspiration from Maria Sibylla Merian, a 17th-century botanical illustrator, and from what they find in and around their East London studio. Their line of silk scarves deserves a close examination, as the longer you look, the more you discover. Some pieces have a dice attached, so you can play on them. Swash has just arrived at Nachbarin in Vienna.
