The debut fragrance from Austrian fashion designer Lena Hoschek is a dark, floral eau de parfum named Loverose. WienerBlut perfumer Valérie Garnuch-Mentzel created the scent, inspired by the designer’s Russian Rose collection, which featured a rose pattern on a black background.
A heady bouquet of florals, including Bulgarian rose, magnolia and orange flower absolute, is combined with the earthy essence of castoreum. The vintage design of the bottle, incorporating a classic pump spray, makes this fragrance a beautifully ornamental addition to your dressing table, too.
The perfume is available from the designer’s delightful boutique on Gutenberggasse, which is equally worth a visit in order to browse the rails filled with fabulous fabrics and lose oneself a world of nostalgia.
