Following its dramatic expansion last year, the store has taken British wine and spirits retail to a whole new level and is the ultimate destination for customers of all tastes and levels to indulge their passion.

The celebrated Wine Shop now houses a series of unique wine experience areas, including an interactive Aroma Zone, luxurious Tasting Room, Bar and a glass-walled temperature-controlled Wine Vault, all aimed at creating an unrivalled environment in which to experience and purchase wine and spirits.

The innovative new space offers an increased and diverse range of over 3,000 expertly selected wines, beers and spirits displayed by type in dedicated areas, including the Champagne and Spirits rooms, an expanded eclectic section and, of course, the Wine Vault.

Focussing on lifestyle and education, members of Harrods’ highly qualified staff are constantly on hand to guide you in your choice, whether you’re a novice wine and spirit drinker or a true connoisseur.

If you are something of an expert, Harrods’ Wine Shop is sure to impress. It offers one of the most comprehensive selections of fine Bordeaux wines anywhere, including the stunning Château Palmer and Château Pétrus as well as a choice of particularly fine vintages.

There is also an impressive line-up of Burgundy and a decadent selection of over 200 champagne cuvees including Krug, Cristal, Salon, and Dom Pérignon.

Whatever your level of expertise, Harrods wants your visit to be a voyage of delicious discovery and the luxurious new space allows for numerous wine tasting events and masterclasses.

In the new interactive Aroma Zone, for example, visitors will be able to enhance their olfactory senses.

Advanced aroma technology will help customers to pinpoint and explain the various components of wine, allowing them understand and explore their wine choices in greater detail.

The informal Tasting Bar is open daily for customers to learn about a rotating selection of up to 18 wines, each matched to various treats from the world-famous Food Halls.

Meanwhile, the Wine Vault is home to some of the very finest wines in the world, including a rotating selection of rare and ancient releases.

Or if it’s something a little more obscure you’re after, the Eclectic Section focusses on all things strange and delicious, from emerging wines from Slovenia and Japan to rarely seen grape varieties such as Grignolino or Verdanel.

Whatever your level of experience, a visit to Harrods’ Wine Shop is sure to ignite your passion and make great wines accessible to everyone. Cheers!
